2D Echo Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced 2D Echo Technician to join our Cardiology Department at ONUS Robotic Multi-Specialty Hospitals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing echocardiography examinations and assisting cardiologists in diagnosing and treating cardiac conditions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform 2D echocardiography, Doppler, and stress echocardiography examinations
2. Prepare patients for procedures and explain the examination process
3. Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment
4. Analyze echocardiographic images and identify abnormalities
5. Prepare preliminary reports for review by cardiologists
6. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
7. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures
8. Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals

Required Qualifications

1. Diploma or Degree in Cardiac Technology or related field
2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in performing 2D Echo examinations
3. Certification in Echocardiography (preferred)
4. Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
5. Proficiency in operating echo machines and related equipment
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
7. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

Preferred Skills

1. Experience with TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiography)
2. Knowledge of stress echocardiography protocols
3. Familiarity with PACS and hospital information systems
4. Basic computer skills for report generation

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with rotating shifts. Candidates should be willing to work on weekends and holidays as per hospital requirements.
