What is Combiflam?
Combiflam Tablet combines two medicines that work as painkillers. They’re working together to reduce pain, fever, and inflammation. It is used to treat many conditions such as
- Headache
- Muscle pain
- Period pain
- Toothache
- Joint pain
Combiflam Tablet is best taken with food to minimize side effects. The doctor will decide on the dose and how often you need it. You should take it on a regular basis as advised by your doctor. It is intended for short-term use only. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen, or if the medicine is needed to use beyond 3 days.
Combiflam medicine is widely prescribed and considered safe, but may not be suitable for everyone. Before taking it, tell your doctor if you drink a lot of alcohol, use blood-thinning medicines, or have asthma or any problems with your liver or kidneys.
Combiflam Uses
Fever
Combiflam tablets provide temporary relief from pain and fever but do not treat the underlying cause. The doctor should therefore be consulted in order to diagnose the cause.
Pain (mild to moderate)
Combiflam tablets are used to treat pain that may be associated with a toothache, body pain, etc. The pain may vary from mild to moderate.
Menstrual cramps
Combiflam medicine is found to be effective in women’s menstrual cramps and associated abdominal conditions.
Osteoarthritis
Combiflam Tablet is used to treat symptoms of osteoarthritis, including tender and swollen joints.
Rheumatoid Arthritis
Combiflam is used to treat symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, including pain, stiffness, and swelling of the joints.
Gout
Combiflam Tablet helps to relieve gout-related swelling and pain.

Combiflam Dosage
- Take this medicine at the dose and duration recommended by your doctor. Swallow it down as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it down. Combiflam Tablets should be taken with food.
- Combiflam should be taken with a meal.
- The Combiflam dose should be kept strictly to the doctor’s prescription.
- Alcohol should be avoided while using Combiflam.
- Before using the medicine, check for ingredients to avoid any kind of complications.
- Ongoing drugs should be discussed with a physician beforehand in order to avoid the risk of interaction.
Overdose
Overdose of a drug can be accidental. If you have taken more than the prescribed Combiflam tablets there is a chance of getting a harmful effect on your body’s functions. Overdose of a medicine can lead to some medical emergency.
Missed Dose
If you miss a dose some sudden chemical change may affect your body. In some cases, your doctor would advise you to take the prescribed medicine as soon as possible if you have missed the dose.
Precautions
One should not take this medicine when,
- If an individual is allergic to a Combiflam tablet or any of its ingredients.
- If an individual is allergic to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as Diclofenac, Aspirin, etc.
- If there was an asthma attack, swelling of the face, itchy red bumps on the skin, bleeding in the stomach, or irritation of the nose.
- If there is a history of stomach bleeding or stomach/intestinal ulcers.
- If a person has a liver or kidney disease.
- If an individual has had heart failure, heart disease, or stroke.
- If an individual has any blood disorder or porphyria.
- If the individual has any breathing problems.
Storage
Direct contact with heat, air, and light may damage your medicines. Exposure to medicine may cause some harmful effects. The medicine must be kept in a safe place and out of children’s reach. Mainly the drug should be kept at room temperature between 68ºF and 77ºF (20ºC and 25ºC).
